Development

The Development Team has a vast range of experience made up of former referees who operated at Grassroots, Junior, Senior and International level. It's primary aim is to support all of our members from their first games right through to promotion onto the Senior List of Referees operating in the SPFL and SWPFL. Our aim is to help each individual to be the best referee they can be and to try and match their aspirations. The team regularly cover matches from Club Academy through to Junior, Lowland League and East of Scotland football. The team are there to support and their role is one of a coach as opposed to an Observer and so ultimately prepare the referee for their next match. If you wish to participate and have your games covered by the Development Team please just get in touch with me mark.doyle@tesco.net In addition to helping co-ordinate the activities of the Development Team and to receive and share feedback for the referees whose games are covered by the Development Team members, I also assist in the running of our Association's Development Academy. Open to referees who have attained Category 3-4 Development the group meet on average of once a month to address their specific needs
